Today’s Weather

The weather today is looking bright and refreshing! With sunny skies and a gentle breeze, being outdoors is a pleasant day. Expect a high of 31°, though it may feel a bit cooler at 21°. Winds will be coming from the west-northwest at 10 to 15 mph, perfect for a cozy jacket. Enjoy the lovely day as we head into the weekend!

Weekend Highlights

The core of the Siberian air mass will move northeastward and drift away from North America today and into this weekend. As a result, temperatures will gradually rise closer to seasonal averages throughout the weekend, with mostly dry conditions expected. There may be a few light snow flurries in the mountains and far north, but overall, the pattern will remain calm. For much of next week, no major storm systems are anticipated, and temperatures will continue to be seasonably cool.

Friday: Sunny, breezy, & not as cold. High 31 (feel like 21) Winds: WNW 10-15 mph

Friday night: Mainly clear & cold. Low 4 Winds: Light & Variable

Saturday: Lots of sunshine. High 31 (feel like 24) Winds: W 5-10 mph

Saturday night: Partly cloudy & not as cold. Low 16 Winds: Light & Variable

Sunday: Clouds with some sun, breezy, and milder. High 39 (feel like 30) Winds: WSW 10-15+ mph

The rest of January promises to be dry with pleasant, normal temperatures. Enjoy the sun filled skies, as no snowstorms are expected for the remainder of the month!

Skiing and Snowboarding Weather Report

Elevations for summits above 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: Morning fog will obscure the summits, with clouds moving in and out throughout the day. High temperatures will be around 9 degrees above zero, but at elevations above 5,000 feet, temperatures may range from 1 degree below to 9 degrees above zero. Northwest winds will blow at 15 to 25 mph, with gusts reaching up to 40 mph. Wind chill values could drop as low as 37 degrees below zero.

Elevations between 2,500 and 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: Summits are obscured. Highs range from 8 to 18 degrees. Northwest winds at 10 to 15 mph, gusting up to 35 mph.
