NASHUA, NH – United Way of Greater Nashua has begun a laptop-donation program, called Tech Connect United, in an attempt to provide access to technology for those in need.
The Tech Connect program is seeking donations of working laptops, tablets, and/or smartphones. These devices will be cleared of data and refurbished for distribution to children, job seekers, college students, and seniors who need them.
“Through this program, we hope to bridge the digital divide and empower individuals from all walks of life by providing them with the tools they need to thrive in a technology-driven society,” said Sara Ceaser, director of community engagement at United Way.
Donations to the program can be made at United Way of Greater Nashua, 20 Broad St., between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays or by appointment. This program is ongoing.
