UNH Manchester prepares for move to Pandora Building

MANCHESTER, NH University of Manchester will be shifting classes to the historic Pandora Building following spring break.

Daily operations will be moved from the existing campus, at 400 Commercial St.  into five of the Pandora Building’s six floors.

“This is a historic property, a landmark building for Manchester, the Merrimack Valley at one of the busiest intersections in Manchester and in southern New Hampshire,” said J.Michael HIckey, UNH Manchester’s interim dean in this article published in the New Hampshire.

The decision to moving to the Pandora Building was based on recommendations of the Heron Report, commissioned by the University System of NH’s board of trustees. More space will allow UNH Manchester to introduce new academic programs and refine existing programs to better suit the needs of students.

Construction began in September and was designed based on input from staff and students.
