Truck catches fire after crashing into utility poles causing power outage
One person suffered minor injuries in the midday crash.

Description of Incident: Companies were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident at Goffs Falls Road and Westwood Drive. Upon arrival Engine 9 reported a box truck on fire that struck a utility pole. The single occupant was out of the truck upon arrival. Companies extinguished the fire and the occupant was transported with minor injuries. A total of two utility poles were severed off causing power outages to the area. Eversource arrived on scene and estimated repairs would last through the night.
