Trio of alleged thieves on bikes spotted on Huse Road, 2 arrested, shotgun recovered
Police continue to investigate this crime. Residents are reminded to secure vehicles and to remove valuables.

MANCHESTER, NH — Police arrested two teens with backpacks full of items allegedly stolen from unsecured vehicles parked along Huse Road, including a shotgun.
According to a police narrative, on May 23 at approximately 4:20 a.m. Officer Aaron Stone and Officer Tyler Gagne were dispatched to the area of Huse and Weston Roads for a report of kids on bicycles going through vehicles. Upon arrival in the area they located three individuals near Kara Street, two of them on bicycles.
Officer Stone and Officer Gagne were able to detain the two of the three individuals on the bicycles however the third subject fled the area prior to back-up officers arriving. The two individuals apprehended were found to have three backpacks containing numerous items. During the subsequent investigation several of the items located were found to have been taken from unsecured motor vehicles in the Huse Road area.
The 2 individuals were arrested and charged with loitering or prowling; and receiving stolen property: Kevin Rojas Garcia, 17, of Manchester, and a juvenile male, 16, also of Manchester,
Follow up investigation on this led to the discovery of a shotgun that had been taken from a vehicle also in the Huse Road area. An additional charge of theft by unauthorized taking (a felony) was added for Rojas Garcia.
The Manchester Police Department continues to investigate this situation and additional charges may be forthcoming.
