Teens arrested after police find weapons, heroin, in car
17-year-olds face drug charges, including possession of two weapons and $1,000-worth of heroin.
MANCHESTER, NH – Two teenagers were arrested May 26 after a motor vehicle stop led to the discovery of heroin, marijuana and two guns.
Drew Fuller, 17, of Manchester, was charged with two counts of carrying a firearm without a license; changing marks on pistol or revolver; possession of a controlled substance with intention to distribute (heroin).
David Hamilton, 17, of Manchester, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana.
At approximately 6:15 p.m. Officer Angeline Alexakos conducted a motor vehicle stop at in the area of Silver and Beech streets. Officer Alexakos stopped the white Subaru and immediately detected an odor of burnt marijuana.
Officer Alexakos approached the vehicle and identified the three subjects. The driver, Fuller, and two backseat passengers, Hamilton and a 17-year-old female, who was not charged.
Dispatch confirmed to Officer Alexakos that Hamilton had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Hooksett. He was removed from the vehicle and placed into custody. A search incident prior to arrest revealed he was in possession of 9.3 grams of marijuana.
The officers also located two loaded, silver revolvers (.32 calibers) inside of the vehicle. One of the handguns appeared to have a “scratched” serial number. Fuller was placed into custody for the firearms charges. A search incident to arrest revealed he was also in possession of 10.7 grams of heroin, estimated street value exceeds $1,000.
Fuller was scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on May 27 at 8:15 a.m. Hamilton was released on $500 personal recognizance and released to the Hooksett Police Department for their outstanding arrest warrant.
