MANCHESTER, NH – Owners of the Hoitt’s Furniture building located at 267 Wilson St. in Manchester report that the city by unanimous approval of the Board of Mayor and Alderman authorized the sale of approximately 4,190 SF of surplus land to the Longo Family Trust for the sum of $21,000.

This sale solves the ongoing rear access issue that was impeding the sale of the building to prospective purchasers in that the property could not be reasonably accessed in the rear with the land that the Family Trust in fact owned, says Ben Nardi of Exp Commercial Realty,  on behalf of his client, the Longo Family Trust.

Hoitt’s had been using that property to gain access to the rear loading docks for a number of years.

“Now that this problem has been rectified the property is clearly marketable and ready for sale to a prospective buyer,” said Nardi. “The property is available for sale and we are actively looking for the right buyer to come forward and purchase this City landmark.”
