Speeding wrong-way driver, 16, arrested after 45-mile chase on I-93
The driver, whose name was not released, was first spotted driving south in a red Toyota RAV4 the northbound lanes of I-93 near Exit 20. Troopers signaled for the driver to stop in the area of Exit 17 but she continued, accelerating to speeds of up to 118 mph.

The vehicle continued southbound through the Hooksett Tolls and Troopers from NH State Police State Police Troop B responded to assist. The vehicle continued southbound in the northbound lane on to Interstate 293.
Trooper Mark Dore was able to successfully deploy spike strips in the area of exit 6 (Amoskeag Bridge in Manchester). The girl drove over the spike strips and continued for a short distance before coming to a stop in the area of Exit 4 on Interstate 293 North.
The girl was taken into custody without incident.
