Safe Station update: Overdoses up, fatalities down
In preparation for President Trumps visit to New Hampshire Monday to discuss the opioid crisis, Chris Stawasz, Regional Director for American Medical Response of MA, Inc. has released the most up-to-date statistics on overdoses for Nashua and Manchester Safe Stations.

MANCHESTER, NH – In preparation for President Trump’s visit to New Hampshire Monday to discuss the opioid crisis, Chris Stawasz, Regional Director for American Medical Response of MA, Inc. has released the most up-to-date statistics on overdoses for Nashua and Manchester Safe Stations.

Manchester OD’s are up 23 percent from 2017 at this time, while fatalities are down 27 percent.
- Nashua OD’s are up 28 percent from this time last year, while fatalities are down 38 percent.
Between the two Safe Station programs in Nashua and Manchester, nearly 5,000 people have sought help for addiction. The Manchester Safe station program began May 4, 2016. The Nashua Safe station program began November 17, 2016.
