Red Arrow Diner patron gives Trump something to chew on, along with his burger
“Jane” from South Carolina, garnered attention this week after she hollered, “Enjoy your burger racist!” before she left the Red Arrow Diner, where Donald Trump was having an impromptu bite to eat.
MANCHESTER, NH — Political tourists come through Manchester plenty during primary campaign season, and the Red Arrow Diner is a top stop. Not only for candidates, like Donald Trump, who stopped by on Jan. 11 for a sit-down with reporters, but also for those who love the spectacle of it all.
Take “Jane” from South Carolina, who garnered attention after she hollered, “Enjoy your burger racist!” before she left the cozy diner, according to ABC News, which was there filming.
Jane was there for lunch. She declined to give her last name, but noted she was unaware Trump was going to be there, and explained her outburst was aimed at what she sees as Trump’s unacceptable views on matters of race.
“I’m really struck by his racism and Islamophobia,” Jane said. “I wanted to make sure people remembered that he is racist, and that he’s using it to rally voters.”
