N Chestnut Street Detour Map

There will be separate traffic detours for each work area to allow access to all businesses during construction. Police details will also on site to assist with detours and traffic control. Work hours will be Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. All roads will be open for traffic at night.

Attached is a public notice and our first detour for the Chestnut/Hanover intersection that were both mailed to area residents today. Our engineering field team will also go door-to-door on Hanover Street this week to talk with businesses impacted by the upcoming construction. Lastly, working with Alderman Long and the City’s Economic Development office, we will be hosting a public meeting this Friday September 26th at 12:00 pm in the downstairs auditorium of the Public Library to answer any questions regarding the upcoming construction activities.

We will continue to provide periodic construction updates to this distribution list and on City’s website. As always, if you have any questions, or require any additional information, please feel free to contact us at your convenience.
