MANCHESTER, NH – Several cars on South Street were struck by bullets fired by a man who got out of a Honda and started shooting, police said.

On July 7 at about 10:40 p.m. Officer Jonathan Duchesne and Officer Ryan Brandreth responded to the area of 10 South Street for a shooting incident. A 30-year-old Manchester resident told police he was standing in front of his residence when a vehicle, a dark-colored Honda Accord, stopped near him. He told police a man he didn’t know got out and began firing a handgun toward him. The man escaped injury but several parked cars were struck.

Police retrieved several shell casings from the scene. Detectives arrived a short time later and impounded two vehicles which were struck by the bullets. The vehicles, 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and 2008 Hyundai Accent, were registered to Nicole Melo, 31, and Gabriella Milliard, 18, both of South Street.

Police do not believe this was a random act and are following several leads to identify the shooter and co-conspirators.
