Police search for Northway Bank robber, may be armed
Police have created a perimeter and are searching for a man who robbed Northway Bank at about 1:30 p.m. Friday.
MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police responded to Northway Bank, 29 Cilley Road, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Sept. 4 for a robbery. Multiple units are checking the immediate area for a suspect. Although no firearm was shown, the assailant mentioned he had a firearm and threatened the bank teller if she failed to hand over cash.
The suspect is described as a thin white or light-skinned black male, possibly 6-feet-tall, with a black beard and long black dreadlocks. He was also wearing knit hat with red, yellow and
green stripes, as well as gray and black striped long sleeve sweater.
