Police investigate shooting near Enright Park, 1 injured
One person was brought to Elliot Hospital shortly after calls were made to 911 for “shots fired” on Lincoln Street, police said.


MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police dispatch was notified of a “shots fired” call in the area of Lincoln and Laurel streets at approximately noon on Oct. 26. Manchester Police Officer Pete Boylan was working a security detail at the Elliot Hospital during the time of the “shots fired” call. He contacted police headquarters at approximately 12: 10 p.m. to report a male victim had just entered the emergency department with a gunshot wound.

Patrol officers and detectives responded to the area of Enright Park in an attempt to locate a crime scene and continue the investigation.
The incident is under investigation, but does not appear to be random, police said. Detectives are requesting witnesses to come forward and contact them directly at 668-8711 or via Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040.
