Party at City Hall Friday night: Happy 172nd Birthday to the Queen City!
Friday night, party at City Hall and everyone’s invited!
MANCHESTER, NH – Everyone’s invited to celebrate Manchester’s 172nd birthday on June 1. The celebration will be held at City Hall Plaza from 6:30-10 p.m., featuring entertainment by the Queen City Combo Jazz Band.
John Clayton, of the Manchester Historical Association, will provide an entertaining and informative rundown on the city’s history, from 1846 to the present.
The event was organized by the Citizens Committee on Economic Development as a way to celebrate the city. They would like to see this become an annual family-friendly event.
