Officer Arkell honored, Mara to throw first pitch at June 7 Fisher Cats game

MANCHESTER, NH – Come out for a great afternoon of baseball and community spirit, when the Fisher Cats play the Richmond Flying Squirrels June 7 at 1:35 p.m.

A special tribute is planned to honor Brentwood Officer Steve Arkell, who was killed May 12, 2014 in the line of duty, while responding to a domestic dispute.

Retiring Manchester Police Chief David Mara.

In addition, Manchester Chief David Mara will receive the Officer Michael Briggs Community Service Award. Mara and Officer Arkell’s daughter will share the honors of tossing the first pitch.

Bonus: The first 1,000 fans will receive a free Fisher Cats Hat, courtesy of Northeast Delta Dental.
