MANCHESTER, NH — Arms Park in Manchester on May 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. will be the site of a rally in support of  youth minorities planned by New Hampshire teens for New Hampshire teens.

Organizer Henna Malik of Londonderry, a senior at the Derryfield School in Manchester, said, “I am passionate about a lot of things whether it is my academics or my club RADs (Racial Awareness at Derryfield School). However, what defines me as a Pakistani-American is my passion for social justice activism in my local community.”

Co-organizer Mattison Howard, a freshman at Concord High School, said, “The goal of this rally is to uplift the voices of youth minorities who face injustices based on their race, the color of their skin, and other racial discrepancies in their everyday life.”

Malik added, “I believe there is immense power in the youth to rise and unite AND return peace back to our nation. I encourage anyone who is available to attend this public event!”
