New seating added to Arms Park at ribbon-cutting ceremony
Almost too chilly for a picnic in the park, but they mayor and others braved the autumn chill for a ribbon cutting at Arms Park.
MANCHESTER, NH — On a brisk autumn day Mayor Joyce Craig was joined by Jimmy Lehoux, John Clayton, Director of the Manchester Historic Association, and representatives of Manchester Connects and AARP for a ribbon-cutting and dedication of the new outdoor seating at Arms Park.
The collaborative project between Manchester Connects and the city’s parks and recreation department was funded by an AARP Community Challenge grant, awarded to projects that “create vibrant public spaces.”
