Motorcyclist dead at the scene following I-93 crash near Welcome Center
The accident remains under investigation.

NH State Police traveling south on I-93 from the area of the Bow junction say they witnessed a motorcycle traveling at a high speed weaving in and out of traffic. The trooper reported on the radio the driver was traveling in excess of 120 MPH. A short time later the motorcyclist was found by another Trooper at the southbound ramp of the liquor store/rest stop. According to witnesses at the scene, the motorcycle operator hit a light pole and flipped, end over end. Witnesses said the rider was wearing a helmet, which came off during the crash.The trooper at the scene called for fire and EMS, and began CPR, however, the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.State police are investigating the accident, which reduced travel lanes and slowed traffic on 93 South.
