More charges for 2 accused of baseball bat attack

DUNBARTON, NH – Additional charges have been filed against the two men police say are responsible for a March 8 brutal baseball bat beating a Goffstown man, who was allegedly left by the two after the assault in an alley with serious injuries.

Following an extensive investigation, Dunbarton Police obtained arrest warrants for crimes that took place in Dunbarton before March 8. Jayson Setoute, 19, and Isaiah Williams, 18,  were arrested March 30 and charged by Dunbarton Police as follows:

Setoute was charged with criminal threatening and criminal liability for conduct of another, both felonies;  Williams was charged with criminal liability for conduct of another, a felony. If convicted, they face up to 7 years in prison on each offense. Williams was arraigned in the 6th Circuit – Concord District Court on March 31. Bail was set at $50,000 cash. Setoute is scheduled for arraignment in the 6th Circuit – Concord District Court on April 3.

The original charges stem from an arrest made by Manchester Police on March 9 when, at about 9 p.m., Patrol Officer Cody Healy observed Williams walk into Domino’s, 212 Lowell St. Officer Healy was familiar with Williams and knew he had an active arrest warrant out of Goffstown for the weekend assault of Joshua Auger, 2o, of Goffstown.

Williams was arrested following a foot pursuit in Manchester. One of the officers sustained a minor injury as a result of Williams’ combative behavior during the arrest process.

On March 12 Goffstown Police arrested Setoute. Both Williams and Setoute were wanted on felony charges of first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit first-degree assault, kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

According to police, Williams and Setoute had an ongoing dispute with Auger, who was dumped on Moose Club Park Road, near the intersection of Circle Drive, following the assault.
