An arctic chill is approaching!

The first weekend of 2025 will be exceptionally cold, with low temperatures in the teens and highs reaching only around 30 degrees. The first full week of January high temperatures staying below freezing with lows in the teens.

Temperatures will reach highs in the-40s. South winds will range from 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph. The chance of precipitation is near 100 percent. Wind chill values could drop as low as 13 degrees in the afternoon.

Elevations between 2,500 and 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: Rain. Highs in the mid 40s. South winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.
