Manchester Police investigate 2 robberies

Police are looking for two robbers in separate incidents. Oct. 14 involved an unarmed robber at Subway on Elm Street, and the second robbery was an armed robbery of oxy from Rite Aid on Hooksett road by a man claiming to have a gun.

Manchester Police investigate 2 robberies

MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police are investigating two robberies, one on Oct. 10 and the other on Oct. 14.

On Oct. 14 police were called at 10 a.m. to the  Subway on Elm Street where an unarmed male subject entered the eatery and demanded cash. A surveillance photo of the suspect was provided by police.

Detectives are also following up on an additional robbery, which occurred October 10 at about 7:50 p.m. at Rite Aid, 53 Hooksett Rd., involving a robber who claimed to have a gun.

The suspect in the Rite-Aid robbery allegedly walked into the pharmacy section of the store and demanded oxycodone. The pharmacist turned over an undisclosed number of  30 mg. oxycodone pills.

The robber fled on foot and may have entered a red Chevrolet pick-up truck with a possible NH registration bearing 353 as the first three digits. The last three or four digits are unknown at this time.

The suspect in the Rite Aid robber was described as a dark-skinned male, possibly an approximately 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6 inches tall, skinny build, last seen wearing a blue surgical mask and a blue hooded sweatshirt.
