Manchester man arrested in Hooksett on drug charges

HOOKSETT, NH – Hooksett police have arrested a Manchester man following alleged possession of heroin and other illegal items.

Jesse Longden, 33, was stopped in the parking lot of the Firebird Motel on Bell Avenue after he was seen exiting a nearby gas station without signaling.

Drug paraphernalia was observed within Longden’s vehicle, and after Longden provided consent for officers to search his vehicle, police report finding crack cocaine, heroin and/or fentanyl as well as a butcher’s knife and a pair of brass knuckles.

Longden was arrested on two counts of alleged possession of a controlled drug, two counts of possession of a dangerous weapon and transporting drugs in a vehicle.

He is scheduled for arraignment on Sept. 19 in Merrimack County Superior Court.
