Manchester man arrested on domestic assault call
Manchester Police Officers responded to a domestic assault call on Mammoth Road at 6:10 p.m. last night. Officers initially made contact with Dominic DeLuca, 51 of Manchester, however, he refused to vacate the house and ignored the officers on scene.
MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Police Officers responded to a domestic assault call on Mammoth Road at 6:10 p.m. last night. Officers initially made contact with Dominic DeLuca, 51 of Manchester, however, he refused to vacate the house and ignored the officers on scene.
Additional units arrived on scene and spoke with the 44 year old victim and her 15 and 13-year old children as they exited the house. The victim stated she was assaulted by her live in boyfriend and sustained several scrapes and abrasions as a result of the assault. One of the children contacted 911 to report the incident because Deluca was allegedly pinning the victim to the floor for a several minutes.
Police made phone contact with DeLuca in an attempt to have him to vacate the house. He refused for more than an hour, but eventually exited the house and was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with; Simple Assault (Domestic), False Imprisonment, Resisting Arrest and Preventative Detention. He appeared in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on May 9, 2016.
