MANCHESTER, N.H. – Police arrested a man on Sunday evening shortly after he T-boned a police car and tried to flee the scene.

William Pagen, 20, of Lowell, Mass. was later arrested on charged of alleged operation of a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, driving after a license suspension and conduct after a vehicular accident.

According to police reports, Pagen collided with the police vehicle near the intersection of Union Street and Laurel Street. The other officers that caught up with Pagen’s vehicle indicated that it had front-end damage and was leaking fluid.

The officer in the initial incident suffered minor injuries, which were treated at an undisclosed hospital.

Pagen is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 3.
