RELATED STORIES:

The Court imposed a sentence of 33 years-to-life in prison on the murder charge, and a consecutive sentence of 10 years to 30 years in prison on the conspiracy charge. Both sentences will run consecutive to a prison sentence that Papillon is currently serving on a felony drug possession charge, as well as another prison sentence that Papillon has yet to serve on charges arising from his scheme to smuggle contraband into prison.

The successful prosecution of this case would not have been possible without the diligent efforts of investigators from the Manchester Police Department, whose work in gathering evidence and securing witnesses continued up to the trial’s conclusion.
