Man faces charges for 3 bank robberies

MANCHESTER, NH –  A man suspected of holding up the TD Bank on Nov. 13 has been arrested by Manchester Police and faces additional charges related to two other bank robberies since Nov. 9.

Eric D’Aoust, 29, of Exeter, was arrested 7 p.m. Nov. 13 after he was spotted by Sgt. Chris Sanders and Sgt. Brandon Murphy of the MPD Special Enforcement Division.

The officers were traveling on South Willow Street when they saw a man matching D’Aoust’s description walking near Sleepy’s mattress store. A warrant for D’Aoust’s arrest was issued following the Nov. 13 TD Bank robbery, 1255 S. Willow St., after D’Aoust was identified as a suspect.

During the course of the investigation it was determined that D’Aoust was responsible for the South Willow Street bank robbery and the Nov. 12 robbery of the TD Bank, 300 Franklin St., as well as the robbery of the Granite State Credit Union on November 9.

D’Aoust is expected to be arraigned on Monday November 16 at 9th Circuit Court-Manchester.
