Man with box cutter robs Mobil-on-the Run clerk
The clerk working at 11:30 p.m. told police he was in the back of the store when a man pushed him from behind and demanded cash from the register. The clerk turned around and noticed a silver box cutter in the robber’s hand, so he handed over an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
Police are investigating a reported robbery at Mobil on the Run, 2391 Brown Ave., on Sept. 23.

The robber was described as a heavy-set white male, weighing between 250-300 pounds, approximately 6-foot-2 inches tall. He was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt with a blue bandana covering his face. The robber fled on foot heading south. No video image was captured during the robbery, police said.
