Man arrested after threatening girlfriend with a knife
Michael Curran has been charged with Criminal Threatening and Felon in Possession of a Deadly Weapon.


MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Police responded to a Montgomery Street address at 2:40 a.m. this morning for a domestic criminal threat involving a knife. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a 26-year old female victim inside of the apartment.
The woman stated her boyfriend, Michael Curran, 27 of Manchester, had left the residence prior to police arrival. The couple had argued because Curran arrived home later than expected. A short while later, Curran allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened to kill her while chasing her into a bedroom. She stated Curran allegedly attempted to stab her, but an unknown friend intervened and removed him from the residence.
Curran was located in Goffstown a short time later and transported to police headquarters where he was charged with Criminal Threatening and Felon in Possession of a Deadly Weapon. He was schedule to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on May 4, 2016.
