MANCHESTER, NH – World Affairs Council of New Hampshire will sponsor a round table discussion with Rose Tchwenko, Assistant Country Director for CARE Malawi at the YWCA, 72 Concord Street, on Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. RSVP here.

Rose Tchwenko

Tchwenko is a seasoned humanitarian with more than a decade of experience in international development and a background in Sub-Saharan Africa focusing on emergency preparedness, combating social injustice, and civil society response to the HIV/AIDS.

She leads a program team in Malawi striving to translate her passion for women’s and girls’ empowerment into action to bring about changes in behaviors, attitudes and social norms.

The event co-sponsors are Southern New Hampshire University and CARE Action!
