To all of the faithful, I apologize in advance. Your soul is being weighed with a balance. I’ve listened to bible teachers that have said, theology is the most important study of all because, your life in eternity depends on it. I agree with that but, all of your faith combined with a cup of coffee will get you nothing when it comes to living with God in eternity. Your faith whatever it is minus a relationship to God, is nothing. Your faith in anything at all, even faith in God is worthless, if you don’t have a a real relationship to God. Everyone is doomed unless and until they have a personal relationship with the Almighty. Anyone that is not born again, into God’s family is not God’s child. Until you are God’s child you have no place in heaven. John 3:16 says you must be born again. That said, even born again christian’s must beware. I recently became a fan of Craig Winn. He’s been writing nonstop for almost 20 years in pursuit of the meaning of life. He too was once a, born again christian and is walking away from that and, walking away from all forms of religion. Craig Winn believes all religion leads away from God. I’ve read more than a thousand of his pages and agree with him. Religion versus relationship is a no-brainer. As a teenager I confessed my sin and was born again into God’s family. I thank God for my Baptist religion but now know, I must go back to the future and find the Almighty once again. I know that I have been in God’s family for more than 4 decades but all religious affiliations have not brought us closer together. Moving to New Hampshire in 2001 and leaving my family and everything I knew behind was the best thing I’ve ever done aside from marrying Carol, and she came with me. I could never make real comparisons to Abraham but, he left everything behind to walk with God. People say that Abraham fathered three religions. In reality he left all religion behind and walked with God. He was the recipient of unbelievable blessings . Through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob the whole world was blessed with our redeemer. All of God’s creation groans and waits for the day that all will be brand new. A day is coming when God will return and bring paradise back to earth again. I don’t believe that day is far away. If were lucky we might have a decade left to get our house in order. A few years to get into God’s family and enjoy Him for all of eternity. I will continue searching for that day but believe Lionel Ritchie and the commodores had a beautiful song to share. Zoom is a song about zooming away, and I will find what they were looking for. Our God the one and only God is looking for you too. He is the creator and the origin of all. We all need to walk away from all to begin a relationship to God. Get right with Him and gain your rightful place in eternity.
