Joint board appointed following Families in Transition-New Horizons merger

Two of Manchester’s largest homeless services providers officially merged into one entity on January 1, 2018. Families in Transition-New Horizons has a 25-member Board of Directors, with staggered terms, which recently met for the first time at their bi-monthly meeting.

MANCHESTER, NH — Two of Manchester’s largest homeless services providers officially merged into one entity on January 1, 2018. Families in Transition-New Horizons has a 25-member Board of Directors, with staggered terms, which recently met for the first time at their bi-monthly meeting.

The newly elected Board of Directors include the following: Dick Anagnost, Co-Chair, Anagnost Investments; David Cassidy, Co-Chair, Eastern Bank; Charla Stevens, Vice-Chair, McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton; Bob Bartley, Treasurer, Bartley Financial Advisors; Frank Saglio, Assistant Treasurer, Howe, Riley & Howe, PLLC; Kristi Scarpone, Secretary, FIRST; Colleen Cone, At Large, Comcast; Roy Tilsley, At Large, Bernstein Shur; Mary Ann Aldrich, Dartmouth-Hitchcock; Helen Davies, Southern New Hamspshire University; Scott Ellison, Cook, Little, Rosenblatt & Mason, PLLC; AnnMarie French, NH Fiscal Policy Institute; Brian Hansen, Team Engineering; Alison Hutcheson, Merchants Fleet Management; Sarah Jacobs, University of New Hampshire at Manchester; Dr. Peter Kachavos; Tony Matos, Altos; Wayne McCormick, Wells Fargo Advisors; Brian Mikol, Spectrum Marketing; Ryan Mulholland, Westbridge; Jack Olson, Texas Instruments; Kitten Stearns, Coldwell Banker, Residential Brokerage; Peter Telge, Stark Brewing Company; Heather Whitfield, People’s United Bank; and Chief Nick Willard, Manchester Police.


Families in Transition-New Horizons provides hunger relief, emergency shelter, safe affordable housing, and supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless or in need, enabling them to gain self-sufficiency and respect. They are headquartered in Manchester, NH, and have housing and programming there as well as Concord, Dover, and soon-to-be Wolfeboro, NH. They also own and operate OutFITters Thrift Stores in Manchester and Concord, NH, which serve as economic engines to help pay for their housing and services.
