Manchester, NH – It may not be St Patricks Day but there were are a lot of people out running the streets of Manchester in green, and showing off their running skills. The Citizen’s Bank Half Marathon and Relay was held in downtown Manchester, despite it officially being Spring the participants faced brisk temperatures as they ran and walked the course that covered many streets. The first batch of men running were all about their times, and some preparing for the Boston Marathon. After the first runners came over the line you saw participants out to have fun and feeling accomplished to finish the race. The race is organized by Millenium Running, the results for the race can be found here – https://www.millenniumrunning.com/results-shamrock-half-relay-2023/45255 Frame Of Mind Photo Gallery Offering Free Downloads – https://www.frameofmindphoto.com/shamrockshuffle_halfmarathon_2023 ©Jeffrey Hastings www.frameofmindphoto.com/news

MANCHESTER, NH – Serious runners wearing plenty of green were out in force in advance of Sunday’s St. Patrick’s parade as part 1 of the two-part annual Shamrock road races took over Elm Street on Saturday.

Part 1, the Citizens Bank Half Marathon and Relay, is a 13.1-mile loop around downtown. It was held despite the burst of winter weather that brought colder temperatures and a blast of light snowfall by early afternoon.

Full results can be found here.

Part 2 is for those who are looking for a bit of a challenge, but mostly a fun time. Sunday’s two-mile Shuffle will start and finish at Veteran’s Park in downtown Manchester and is followed immediately by the 26th Annual St. Patrick’s Parade and whatever hijinks follow.
