Grand jury hands up 324 indictments for December

A Grand Jury considers evidence presented by the County Attorney or the Attorney General and decides whether there is sufficient evidence to formally charge a person with committing a crime.

MANCHESTER, NH – A Merrimack man is under indictment for conspiring with a Bay State man to drug a woman to rape her.

Kelsey Geary, 35, was indicted by a Hillsborough County Superior Court North grand jury on charges of conspiracy to commit aggravated felonious sexual assault and trafficking in persons.

On Jan. 11, 2019 in Bedford, Geary is accused of conspiring with Kyle Priest, 30, of 23 Taylor St., Waltham, Mass.,  in the rape of a 21-year-old woman.


What is a Grand Jury indictment? According to the NH Law Library, an indictment is a criminal charge against a person by a Grand Jury. A Grand Jury considers evidence presented by the County Attorney or the Attorney General and decides whether there is sufficient evidence to formally charge a person with committing a crime. It is part of due process. Any accused individual is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. The grand jury handed up 324 indictments for January. Among those indicted were:

  • Chautel Ames, 29, 405 Milton St., reckless conduct, deadly weapon, and domestic violence, deadly weapon.  On Oct. 12, 2024, Ames is accused of throwing a knife at R.T.J., 42, an intimate partner, while saying, “I’m going to kill him.”
  • Sunny Austin, 44, of 510 Maple St., second-degree assault.  On July 20, 2024, Austin is accused of hitting J.P. in the back of the head with a glass bottle, causing a laceration.
  • Jonathan Belanger, 41, of 40 Abbey Lane, Apt. #304, Goffstown, two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, pattern of assault.  Between Jan. 1, 2019 and April 29, 2024 in Goffstown, Belanger is accused of engaging in a pattern of sexual assault of S.S., who was under the age of 16, when he touched S.S.’s genitals with his hands and penis.
  • Tyson Blodgett, 22, of 590 Kimball St., reckless conduct, deadly weapon, and receiving stolen property, a firearm.  On Sept. 22, 2024, Blodgett is accused of driving a motor vehicle, while attempting to elude Manchester police with sirens and blue lights activated, losing control and crashing into multiple objects while two people were in his car.  At the time, he was allegedly in possession of a stolen Taurus Millennium G2 9 mm handgun.
  • Tylor Bloom, 31, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., seven counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault; six counts, pattern of aggravated felonious sexual assault, and one charge of felonious sexual assault. The indictments indicate the assaults on the child, who was 6 years old when they began, started in 2014 and continued through 2022, all taking place in Antrim. Bloom is accused of repeatedly having sexual intercourse with the child.
  • Robert M. Bullard, 70, of 419 Somerville St., 10 counts of possession of child sexual abuse images.  On Sept. 20, 2024 Bullard is accused of possessing 10 videos of prepubescent children engaging in sexually explicit conduct, sometimes with adults.
  • Ezra Burdette, 23, of 18 Country Club Drive, criminal threatening and falsifying physical evidence.  On Sept. 20, 2024, Burdette is accused of pointing a firearm in E.W.’s direction. When he believed a police investigation was about to begin, he allegedly hid the gun.
  • James Celata, 35, of 25 Brook St., aggravated felonious sexual assault; criminal threatening, deadly weapon, and false imprisonment.  On July 2, 2024, Celata is accused of preventing A.M., 34, multiple times from leaving an apartment, threatening her with brass knuckles and saying, “I’m going to beat the fuck out of you.”  He is accused of overcoming A.M. with force and inserting his fingers into A.M.’s genital opening.
  • Brayan Chacan Rivera, 19, of 400 Cedar St., two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault.  Between Jan. 1, 2019 and Nov. 17, 2020, Chacan Rivera is accused of twice penetrating the anus of J.R. who was 8-years-old at the time of the first incident.
  • Brian Crawford, 52, of 293 South Sugar Hill Road, Weare, five counts of possession of child sexual abuse images.  On Oct. 9, 2024 in Weare, Crawford is accused of possessing videos of prepubescent girls engaging in sex with men.
  • Isaiah Crawford, 27, of 264 Reed St., criminal threatening, deadly weapon and falsifying physical evidence.  On June 22, 2024, Crawford is accused of displaying a gun to E.S. and then, believing an investigation was pending, putting the gun in C.K.’s vehicle.
  • James Defeo, 21, of 15 Galloway Lane, Bedford, reckless conduct, deadly weapon, and two counts of aggravated DUI.  On June 22, 2024 in Manchester, Defeo is accused of driving on Interstate 93 in Manchester while under the influence of an intoxicating liquor, causing a motor vehicle collision that resulted in a left patellar fracture to K.S.
  • Willie Dortch, 52, of Fall River, Mass., reckless conduct, deadly weapon; criminal restraint, and kidnapping.  On July 23, 2024 in Manchester, Dortch is accused of pushing C.G. into the passenger seat of her car, then driving erratically with the passenger door open and preventing C.G. from exiting the vehicle.
  • Martin Easton, 48, of 6 Country Club Drive, 10 counts of distribution of child sexual assault images. On March 18, 2024, Easton is accused of being in possession, with the intent to distribute, 20 images of young girls engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
  • Madison Garcia, 20, of 391 Manchester St., 1R, falsifying physical evidence; reckless conduct, and endangering the welfare of a child.  On July 1, 2024, Garcia is accused of concealing the injuries of J.G., a 3-year-old child, by not taking J.G. to the hospital for medical treatment to prevent the reporting of injuries to police.
  • Juan Garcia Arias, 29, of 275 Thornton St., Apt. #1, five counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, one alleging a pattern of sexual assault, and two counts endangering the welfare of a child.  Between June 1 and Aug. 21, 2024, Garcia Arias is accused of repeatedly raping a 14-year-old girl by overcoming her with force.
  • Grant Gentzel, 20, of 114 Jewett St., Apt. 3, two counts of criminal threatening, deadly weapon.  On Oct. 27, 2024, Gentzel is accused of threatening to “kill everyone” while waving a gun in the presence of J.H. and N.C.
  • Maranda Gingras, 23, of 12 Cumberland St., two counts of identity fraud.  On June 18, 2024, Gingras is accused of providing identifying information of two other individuals, not herself, when police asked her for her identification.
  • Scott Gladu, 29, of 134 Lindsey Way, Apt. B, Goffstown, two counts of domestic violence, simple assault.  Between Aug. 25 and Sept. 1, 2024 in Goffstown, Gladu is accused of bending a six-year-old’s fingers backwards towards the wrist and squeezing and shaking the child’s genitals.
  • Kenneth Goodwin, 35, of 39B Tanguay St., Sanford, Maine, three counts of domestic violence; second-degree assault; burglary; attempted first-degree assault, and attempted kidnapping.  On Oct. 4, 2024 in Hillsboro, Goodwin is accused of threatening to stab family members, including his ex-wife who he ran at with a knife.  “I’ll stab West and then your mom! If that doesn’t work, then I’ll stab you,” he told E.G., according to the indictments.  The second-degree assault charge accuses him of injuring a Hillsboro police officer.  The attempted kidnapping charge alleges he grabbed Z.G. and the burglary count accuses him of unlawfully being in a residence.
  • Steven Howard, 38, of 181 W. Hollis St., Nashua, two counts of theft by unauthorized taking; receiving stolen property, and falsifying physical evidence. On Sept. 14, 2024, in Manchester, Howard allegedly gain unauthorized control of an Audi A6. On Sept. 17, 2024, again in Manchester, Howard is accused of stealing a necklace worth more than $1,500; being in possession of a stolen Ford Bronco, and getting rid of the car keys when police began an investigation.
  • Spencer Johnson, 32, of 331 Central St., five counts of theft by unauthorized taking; two counts of armed career criminal and one charge of receiving stolen property.  On Sept. 10, 2024, Johnson is accused of having a stolen Chase credit card belonging to K.M.  On Sept. 7 and 8, 2024, he allegedly stole a box of ammunition and a Glock pistol.  On Aug. 24, 2024, he is accused of stealing a Ruger revolver, a black taser and a black solo monocular.
  • Charles Knapp, 32, of 5 Dustin Ave., Derry, two counts of second-degree assault and possession of crack cocaine.  On Aug. 3, 2024 in Manchester, Knapp is accused of choking L.K., his four-year-old son.
  • Sean Lavallee, 45, of 280 Conant St., two counts of armed career criminal; two counts of first-degree assault; four charges of aggravated felonious sexual assault; two counts of criminal threatening; two counts of felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, and one charge of witness tampering.  On June 15, 2023, Lavallee is accused of being in possession of a firearm while having been convicted of three felonies.  That day, he also allegedly chased S.T., an intimate partner, around her residence while armed with a gun; pointed the gun at her and said, “I will blow your brains out bitch.”  He also allegedly hit her in the head with a firearm; grabbed her by the back of the head and forced her to perform fellatio on him, and pulled down her pants and underwear and raped her twice saying she “had no say in this.” On Sept. 6, 2023, he allegedly warned her, “Better not tell the cops I put my hands on you.”
  • Dana Lemieux, 64, of 349 Wilson St., Apt. 1, two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault.  Between Aug. 1, 2014 and Dec. 31, 2014, Lemieux is accused of touching the genitalia of a five to six-year-old and ejaculating into the child’s mouth.
  • Robert Lemieux, 60, of 357 Central St., theft by deception and two counts of theft by unauthorized taking.  On Jan. 21, 2023, Lemieux is accused of taking $600 from P.L. to install gutters but never completed the job. On March 15, 2023, he allegedly possessed a check belonging to C.E. and obtained more than $4,900 belonging to Ezzy Construction.
  • David Luicha, 58, of 185 Taylor St., Apt. 2, three counts of theft by deception and five charges of forgery. According to the indictments,   Luicha obtained more than $16,000 belonging to J.O. by cashing forged checks made out to him.
  • Michael E. Mailhot, 43, of 429 Concord End Road, Hillsboro, two counts of nonconsensual dissemination of private sex images.  Between Aug. 20 and 30, 2024 in Manchester, Mailhot is accused of disseminating two sexual images of a 40-year-old without that person’s permission.
  • Michael Manley, 46, of 72 Church St., Hillsboro, second-degree assault and two counts of resisting arrest.  On Nov. 26, 2024 in Hillsboro, Manley is accused of pushing a Hillsboro police officer, causing him to fall, hit his head and suffer a concussion.  He also allegedly injured a second officer when he slammed a door on her finger.
  • Jason Martinez Morales, 30, of 426 Somerville St., #409, first-degree assault, six counts of second-degree assault; felon in possession of a dangerous weapon; two counts reckless conduct; robbery, and domestic violence, criminal threatening.   Between April 19 and May 20, 2019, Martinez Morales is accused of choking M.Q., 17, with a belt; punched her in the head while she was driving; blocking her nose, impeding her breathing; putting his shin to her throat and pushing her face into a pillow, and choking her with his hands.
  • Yandel Martinez Nunez, 19, of 75 Beech Hill Drive, three counts of criminal threatening with a firearm.  On Sept. 26, 2024, Martinez Nunez is accused of pointing a gun at three people.
  • Izayah Perkins, 18, of 123 Middle St., reckless conduct and riot.  On Aug. 22, 2024, Perkins is accused of engaging in tumultuous conduct with two or more people and having a blade attached to the end of a string.
  • Josue Ramos-Falu, 52, of 100 Laurel St., handguns armed career criminal; possession of a controlled drug – fentanyl – subsequent offense; felonious use of a firearm; felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, and falsifying physical evidence.  On Sept. 2, 2024, Ramos-Falu is accused of being in possession of a firearm while having been convicted of three felony drug charges. When he learned of the police investigation, he allegedly hid the gun.
  • Grixanny Rivas-Santos, 23, of 541 Pine St., #3, criminal threatening.  On Aug. 4, 2024, Rivas-Santos is accused of accelerating her car at I.M. nearly striking him.
  • Angel Rivera Calderon, 25, of 491 Maple St., 14 counts of reckless conduct, and one charge each of falsifying physical evidence and being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.  On Aug. 4, 2024, Rivera Calderon allegedly fired a gun 14 times into the air and then removed the firearm from the scene when police began to investigate the incident.
  • Linwood Rowe, 67, of 90 Moose Club Road, Goffstown, five counts of possession of child sexual abuse images.  On Nov. 20,2020, Rowe is accused of possessing five images of naked girls, ages 6 to 10, in sexually explicit poses and, in a couple of images, with adult men performing sex acts on them.
  • Erik Rye, 25, of 210 Abijah Bridge Road, Weare, aggravated felonious sexual assault, second-degree assault, and criminal restraint.  On March 17, 2024, Rye is accused of confining K.S. to his vehicle saying, “You’re going to do what I say,” and “You don’t want to make me angry.”  According to the indictments, Rye attempted to force K.S. into the back seat, grabbed her by the neck, choked her and forced her to perform fellatio on him.
