So here’s what you all have been waiting for. How do you PLAY Spellbreak? Lets take a look!
Build Your Battlemage
In Spellbreak you don’t just log in and play. You login and get to pick from 1 of 6 class styles to play as! See? This is already better than all the other typical battle royale games that have guns and grenades. Parents PAY ATTENTION! Ok so what you need to do is first: Choose a class: Frostborn (ICE), Conduit (ELECTRIC), Pyromancer (FIRE), Toxicologist (POISON), Stoneshaper (EARTH), or Tempest (WIND). Each has its own playstyle, which you can customize with talents as you grow in power. Which will you master? I’ve mastered Frostborn. This class is an Ice ability that lets you shoot enemies from a far distance with Ice lances! So cool!Combine the Elements
Now that you’ve chosen your gauntlet, here’s the TWIST! A mighty battlemage isn’t limited to just ONE ability. Seize the power of TWO magic gauntlets and COMBINE devastating spell combinations to control the battlefield with fiery tornadoes, electrified gas clouds, and more! My favorite combination is Frostborn’s Ice Lance plus Stoneshaper’s Boulder Throwing. With the Stoneshaper ability you can launch boulders and if you shoot an Ice Lance in a timely manner and HIT the boulder, it then proceeds to freeze mid air and deal more damage upon impact, breaking into an icy, stony mess of damage!! Yes this combo sounds tricky but trust me…there are very few things more satisfying in video game life than combo moves in Spellbreak!Outplay Your Rivals
Explore the map and find tactical advantages to outplay your opponents. The match starts with 42 players and finishes when there is only ONE battlemage standing! (Assuming your in solo mode) Discover hidden chests that contain magical runes and game-changing equipment. Equipment like boots that will help you run faster, Runes that are infused with mystical abilities, fighting belts that allow you to apply armor to your battlemage so you can withstand incoming fireballs and more! These items give you the ability to fly, teleport, control time, become invisible, and all kinds of Harry Potter could probably do. The map in this game is absolutely breathtaking….just don’t get caught staring at nature’s beauty too long because you might not see a rival sneaking up to you and then now look at you. You’re about to catch a fireball to the face. Or get throw off a cliff by a tornado. You get my point.
Spellbreak matches take no longer than 15 minutes TOPS! How do i know? I’ve played this game on my Nintendo Switch for the past week and I’ve gotten so many 1st place finishes I feel like ill be hooked for life.
