Future Innovators emerge from Meredith Destination Imagination tournament: 6 teams headed to global tournament
Teams competed in Challenges based on STEAM principles; Engineering, Technical, Scientific, Fine Arts, Improvisational and Service Learning.

MEREDITH, NH – Teams competed in Challenges based on STEAM principles; Engineering, Technical, Scientific, Fine Arts, Improvisational and Service Learning.
The team that placed first in their Challenge and age level have qualified to attend the Destination Imagination Global Finals. First-placed teams at the Amherst Affiliate tournament on March 28, 2025, will also qualify to represent New Hampshire. Destination Imagination Global Finals will be held in Kansas City, MO in May, and feature teams from 15 countries and nearly every state.

SPECIAL AWARD – The Renaissance Award
Martin and Martian, a homeschool team from Merrimack, NH. was awarded a Renaissance Award during the tournament. The Renaissance Award is bestowed to teams for outstanding skill in the areas of design, engineering, execution, or performance. Martin & Martian wowed the appraisers with a performance well beyond their years. They demonstrated an in-depth understanding of the real phenomenon of glass rain, and used their skills to build and coordinate computer and audio capabilities to successfully enhance the presentation. Their elaborate demonstration rained “wow!” upon the appraisal team.
