Fugitive sought by U.S. Marshals, wanted for alleged assault on wife
Durand is wanted on an arrest warrant issued June 26 for failure to appear in connection with a second-degree assault charge dating back to October of 2014.

MANCHESTER, NH – Jason Durand, 39, is wanted by the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force as a Hillsborough County fugitive.
Durand is wanted on an arrest warrant issued June 26 for failure to appear in connection with a second-degree assault charge dating back to October of 2014 when he resided at 452 Pine St.
He was accused of attempting to strangle his wife, allegedly pushing her onto a bed and using pepper spray on her before punching her in the stomach and head, and then taking away her phone as she attempted to call for help.
According to court documents, Durand pleaded innocent to three charges of simple assault, obstructing the report of a crime, and criminal use of an electronic defense or aerosol self-defense spray.
Durand was last known to be living in Manchester but also has significant ties to family friends and associates in the Nashua area.
He is described as 6-feet-tall, 180 pounds, brown eyes, black hair, medium skin tone, a tattoo on his right arm
