Free training course to learn how to be a hospice care volunteer
Free training course to be held Tuesdays throughout Oct. and Nov.
MANCHESTER, NH – This free comprehensive training course equips participants with the necessary skills to provide support to terminally ill individuals and their caregivers, and discusses:
- Hospice Philosophy
Compassion through Active Listening
- Grief and Bereavement
- Medical and Legal Aspects, and much more.
Training will be held on Tuesdays, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, and Nov 6, 13, 20, 2018 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. (Tuesday, Nov 27 reserved as a make-up date if needed) at the VNA Hospice, 1070 Holt Ave. in Manchester.
