MANCHESTER, NH – Elliot Health System announces that Dr. Gerald Sardella, MD has joined the health system to lead the cardiac surgery program for The Elliot Heart and Vascular Center. Dr. Sardella is well established in the greater Manchester community in the field of cardiac surgery and brings his expertise to our comprehensive cardiovascular program at The Elliot.
Dr. Sardella joins Elliot Health System from Catholic Medical Center where he served as Chief of Cardiac Surgery. Prior to Catholic Medical Center, he served as Chief of Cardiac Surgery at Concord Hospital and as a Cardiac Surgeon with Albany Cardiothoracic Surgeons.

This news comes after two recent announcements about The Elliot’s cardiovascular program. The Elliot will soon begin to offer heart surgery — Dr. Sardella is building this program, and providing oversight of the program after its launch. The Elliot also recently brought together its services in Elliot Cardiovascular Consultants, Elliot Cardiac Surgery, and Elliot Vascular Surgery to form the coordinated, comprehensive Elliot Heart and Vascular Center.
