District’s future kindergartners invited to join January storytime series
Manchester School District wants to jump-start the city’s future avid readers with a series of story time events during the month of January.
MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester School District wants to give the city’s future avid readers a running start with a series of free storytime events during the month of January.
Pre-schoolers planning to attend kindergarten in the fall of 2016 are invited to bring their favorite adult with them to McDonough Elementary School, 550 Lowell St., where they will hear a story, do a math activity, and make friends.
The four scheduled story times are January 8, 15, 22, and 29 (weather permitting) from 2-2:30 p.m. Please arrive promptly.
Snacks will be provided, as well as take-home activities.
This is a free event sponsored by Title I.
