Cold Case update: Authorities to revisit Black Acres search for evidence of missing woman

MANCHESTER, NH – A search will take place on May 15, 2018, in Manchester, in connection with a missing person’s case.

On June 8, 1980, Denise Ann Daneault, 25, disappeared after a night out socializing in Manchester and has never been seen or heard from since. Denise was a Manchester resident who lived on Hayward Street at the time and was a divorced mother of two children.

Last year, law enforcement authorities searched the wooded area behind the public housing buildings located at 541 Kimball Street in Manchester for evidence related to Denise Daneault’s disappearance. Authorities will be at that same area today preparing for a search on Tuesday for evidence related to Daneault’s disappearance. The search will be conducted by personnel from the Manchester Police Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Depending on the results, the search is expected to last at least one day.

Anyone who has information about Denise Daneault is asked to call Detective Lucas Hobbs at the Manchester Police Department (603) 792-5519.
