Board deliberates, selects new superintendent of schools
The board voted unanimously in favor of Dr. John Goldhardt as the new superintendent of schools.


MANCHESTER, NH — The Manchester Board of School Committee has chosen Dr. John Goldhardt to serve as the district’s new superintendent of schools.

According to the Union Leader, the decision came after three hours of deliberation by the board during a special meeting Thursday night.
Goldhardt, who has spent his career working for schools in Utah, will report for work July 1, at a starting annual salary of $170,000. Board members have approved offering him a three-year contract.
