Operation Granite Hammer round-up leads to several arrests

Manchester Police Department’s ongoing initiative known as Operation Granite Hammer, which targets street-level drug dealers, netted several arrests.

MANCHESTER, NH – Several people were arrested in Manchester and Hooksett as part of Manchester Police Department’s ongoing initiative known as Operation Granite Hammer, which targets street-level drug dealers.

The Manchester Police Special Enforcement Division, assisted by members of the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics Investigative Unit and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, collaborated on the round-up.

Overall, 7.5 grams of methamphetamine ($1,500 street value), 15 grams of marijuana ($300) and .5 grams of crack cocaine ($40) were seized by authorities during the operation.

On Jan. 21 at approximately 6:10 p.m. detectives arrested Senesie Bai, 33, of 92 Walnut St., Manchester. He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug (.5 grams crack-cocaine.) He was scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on January 22, 2016.


Hedberg

On Jan. 21 at about 7 p.m. New Hampshire State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at Beech and Harvard streets. James Hedberg, 44, of Manchester, had an active habitual offender warrant, so he was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters. He was released on $100 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on March 14, 2016.

On Jan. 22 at 12:30 a.m. investigators executed a search warrant at 5 Skyline Drive in Hooksett. The investigation centered on distribution of crystal methamphetamine. Manchester Police SWAT assisted in the search warrant, cleared the house and arrested Travis Leavitt, 28, of 5 Skyline Drive and Desiree Badaoui, 26, of Tyngsboro, Mass., both found in possession of crystal meth, police said.

Leavitt was in possession of 3.5 grams of crystal meth and Badaoui was in possession of 2 grams of crystal meth. Both were scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on January 22, 2016.

Detectives located an additional 2 grams of crystal meth and 15 grams of marijuana inside of the Hooksett residence.
