A 4-alarm structure fire at 114 Route 101A, has shut down Route 101A and destroyed two businesses.
AMHERST, NH — A 4-alarm structure fire at 114 Route 101A, has shut down Route 101A and destroyed two businesses. Amherst Fire and Rescue were joined by several local mutual aid units to battle the blaze and provide station coverage. Amherst Kayak & Canoe and the adjacent Sundance Spa were destroyed in the fire. There’s no word at this point what caused the fire, and no injuries have been reported. Route 101A remains closed.
