The victims of the fire have been identified by the Medical Examiners office.

2 perish in North Hampton fire

NORTH HAMPTON – The victims of a fatal fire at 90 Lovering Road in North Hampton have been identified and their cause of death has been released by the NH Medical Examiner’s Office.

Benjamin Fauteux, 23, of Hillsboro and 1-year-old Emerson Quinonez of North Hampton were the victims. Their cause of death has been ruled accidental due to smoke inhalation.

The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.

State Fire Marshal Parisi would like to remind all citizens of the importance of having working smoke alarms in your home.  In the event of a fire, immediately exit your home and call 911. Keep exits clear of debris and have a home fire escape plan.
