2 men arrested after traffic stop leads to drugs, cash and stolen gun

Police confiscated a stolen gun, a tomahawk, meth, heroin, suboxone, amphetamines and a filled syringe.

2 men arrested after traffic stop leads to drugs, cash and stolen gun

MANCHESTER, NH – On May 13, 2018, Officers Cody Healy and Ryan Olsen were assigned to a plain clothes patrol during the 4 to 12 shift. While on patrol the officers were in the area of Central High School when they observed suspicious activity near a vehicle parked at a local business.

Upon following the vehicle they observed motor vehicle violations and subsequently stopped the vehicle in the area of Beech and Orange streets. During their roadside interview and investigation they arrested Michael Meucci, 36, of Salem, after locating a small black container in the area of the vehicle that Meucci had been seated. Inside this container they found a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine, suboxone strips and heroin along with rolled up cash.

Subsequent to his arrest the backpack that Meucci had been carrying prior to entering the vehicle was searched and an additional quantity of methamphetamine was found, along with scales packaging materials, a mask, and weapons –  a Tomahawk and a .22 semi-automatic pistol with the serial number filed off. A total of 91.3 grams of methamphetamine, 31.3 grams of heroin, 54 Suboxone strips, 44 blue pills (suspected amphetamine schedule II controlled drug) and a syringe filled with 70 units of brown liquid were seized.

Reagan/MPD

Meucci was charged with possession of controlled drug with intent to distribute, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of property without serial numbers, felonious use of a firearm and armed career criminal.

Also arrested during the same stop was a passenger in the vehicle, identified as Matthew Reagan, 35, of Tilton, after he was found to be in possession of approximately 2 grams of heroin. He was charged with possession of a controlled drug.
