2 charged for reckless motorcycle operation, drug possession

Two people were arrested Aug. 16 by New Hampshire State Police,  charged with reckless operation of motorcycles and transporting marijuana.

Just before 6:30 p.m. State Police received a complaint of a number of motorcycles operating recklessly as they traveled along Route 101 from the area of Exit 9.  They were described as holding up traffic then speeding up and operating recklessly.  At approximately 6:40 p.m. Trooper Mark Dore of the Troop B Barracks observed this group of motorcycles as they entered Interstate 93 South from the 101 West interchange in Manchester.

Trooper Dore noted that two of these motorcycles were operating at a very high rate of speed and he was able to clock them on radar at 128 mph in the posted 55 mph zone.  With the assistance of Trooper Ryan Hajjar he was able to stop these two motorcycles.

Arrested were: Rembert Zambrana, 34, of Litchfield who was operating a 2010 Honda CBR600; and Erin Crete, 31, also of Litchfield, who was operating a 2008 Suzuki GSXR600.

Zambrana and Crete were arrested for reckless operation and transportation of drugs (marijuana) and taken to the Troop B barracks in Bedford where they were processed and released on bail.  Both Zambrana and Crete are due to appear in Manchester District Court on October 6, 2014 at 8 a.m.
