Victim identified in fatal crash on South Willow Street
The head-on crash was reported at 5:43 p.m. located at the intersection of South Willow and Perimeter Road involving two vehicles, with entrapment.


MANCHESTER, NH – A city man has died in an automobile crash on South Willow Street.
According to police, on Feb. 5 at approximately 5:43 p.m. two vehicles were involved in an accident at the intersection of South Willow Street and Perimeter Road.
Malcolm MacNeil, 43, of Manchester, who was driving a 2016 red Volkswagen Jetta, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 48-year-old female from Derry was driving the other vehicle, a 2013 gray Nissan Rogue. She sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to an area hospital. The roadway was temporarily closed following the crash.
The cause of this crash is under investigation by the Manchester Police Department Traffic Unit. Anyone with information regarding this crash is requested to contact Investigator Wood at 603-792-5449.
